Artist/Designer: The original concept was designed by Charlotte Reihlen (1805–1868) in Stuttgart, Germany, around 1866. She collaborated with a German artist named Herr Schacher to create the visual details.
Dutch/South African Version: The Dutch version (which yours is) was first published in 1867. Your specific print was published by Holl. Afrikaansche Uitgevers Mij. v/h. Jacqs. Dusseau & Co. in Cape Town and printed/distributed by Firma J.H. de Bussy in Pretoria.
Medium: Chromolithograph (a color printing process using multiple stones).
Subject Matter: A religious allegory based on Matthew 7:13–14. It depicts the "Broad Way" (left) leading to destruction, filled with worldly temptations like theaters, ballrooms, and gambling, and the "Narrow Way" (right) leading to the New Jerusalem, requiring a humble life of faith.

Dimensions: While you'll need to measure the actual paper, these standard framed prints usually measure roughly 55 cm x 42 cm (approx. 22" x 16") or slightly larger depending on the frame.
Provenance: These were widely distributed in South Africa as religious educational tools. Given the publisher info, it likely dates to between 1900 and 1920.
Frame Condition: The frame appears to be a period-appropriate dark wood frame. It shows some age-related wear, and there is visible foxing (brown spotting) and water staining on the bottom right of the print. This is common for paper of this age but does affect the value.
